On Tuesday, March 13th, we took over Clive Bar in Austin, TX for our annual SXSW Party! It was an amazing day of food, drinks, friends, networking, and, of course, music. Thanks to all of those that attended!

We kicked off the party with an exclusive press event, featuring Pandora for Business. DMX’s COO, Chris Harrison, and Pandora’s Founder, Tim Westergren, educated attendees about the product and were available to answer questions. Additionally, we launched a new project called Up+Up. Up+Up is a movement focused on educating consumers and business owners on what is required for them to play music legally in their place of business and the benefits of doing so. About 2PM, the DJ started spinning and we opened the doors to the public for an afternoon of Neo Classic Soul music from Austin Brown (LA-based musician and nephew of the late Michael Jackson), The Stepkids (American psychedelic soul voted as one of the Best R&B albums of 2011 by Spin Magazine), and Nneka (soul/hiphop singer songwriter from Nigeria).
