Last month, Blondfire performed an acoustic set for the Sunglass Hut Summit that we hosted in Los Angeles. The band was so well-received from the brand, our employees, and guests that we CAN’T WAIT for their performance at our SXSW Party next week!

LA’s Blondfire, consisting of Brazilian-American siblings Bruce and Erica Driscoll, creates “infectious pop tunes with real punch.” Raised in a musical family, the Dricolls spent much of their childhood writing and recording music in the family’s basement. The band’s catchy tune “Where The Kids Are” garnered airplay across the country, was picked up by music publications (such as Rolling Stone and Filter), and has been licensed in several films, television shows and commercials. The buzz helped the  band sign with Warner Bros. Records, where they’re working on a new album entitled Young Heart.
