Here are two of my new recent discoveries…
Recently, I was lucky enough to catch Emily King in a very small venue in LA called the Hotel Cafe. She was amazing. Lady has got a lot of soul. She did a cover of Isley Brothers “Work to Do” that I wish I had the video to show you. But I don’t so below is a video of one of my faves.
Another new discovery of mine is Harper Simon. I’m loving the Elliot Smith vibe this guy has. Give “Bonnie Brae” a listen. There’s even a free download on his website.
