Once I got out of college, any allure that summer had when I was a kid seemed to have faded away for the most part. It is way too hot, television shows are all in reruns, and there are no sports at all to get excited about. That’s part of the reason why fall is now my favorite season of the year. The weather is nicer, the leaves are changing color, and football is back! Finally, the long summer drought is over, and I once again know what I’ll be doing each Sunday for the next four months.
One of the best parts about watching any football game is, of course, the tailgate. Pre-gaming has nearly become just as much of a part of the game as the kickoff itself. Good food combined good friends always amounts to having a great time. However, in order to have the perfect experience, it is essential that you have the right music to go along with it.
So here, in no particular order, are my Top 10 songs necessary for any football tailgate –
“Welcome To The Jungle“- Guns N’ Roses
“Walk” – Pantera
“Bring Da Ruckus” – Wu-Tang Clan
“Stranglehold” – Ted Nugent
“Back In Black” – AC/D C
“All I Do Is Win” – DJ Khaled feat T-Pain, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and Rick Ross
“Tom Sawyer” – Rush
“Master Of Puppets” – Metallica
“Mountain Song” – Jane’s Addiction
“Immigrant Song” – Led Zeppelin
Well, there you have it- a list guaranteed to liven up any pre-game party. While these are MY favorite tailgate songs…what are some of yours? GO PANTHERS!

Nice Rush inclusion! I gotta have Widespread Panic, “Ain’t Life Grand” to set the Mood for any big tailgate.
