Friday, June 15th was Employee Appreciation Day here at our Austin office. It was a day filled with BBQ, games, and a Live Series session at our favorite neighborhood bar, the Mean Eyed Cat!
Austin’s Suite 709 treated us to an energetic set filled with songs from their upcoming release, Night & Day. The performance was so fun that, for the first time in Live Series history, we screamed for an encore.
After their set, the band gathered around the pool table and chatted with us about their music, the recording process for Night & Day, and a few interesting moments from Free Press Summer Fest.
Catch the band next Saturday, July 7th at Antone’s for their Record Release Party! Shortly after, the band will heading out on a tour sponsored by Google (they’re featured in a Google+ ad)!
