Hailing from Johannesburg, The Parlotones are one of South Africa’s biggest selling bands. Though they’ve been well-known internationally for nearly a decade, the band is just starting to take the U.S. by storm. Their latest album, Journey through the Shadows, was released on May 8th and features the single “Save Your Best Bits.”
Earlier this year, The Parlotones visited our Austin, TX office to play a few acoustic numbers for our captive audience of Music Designers and employees before their show that night at Stubb’s.
Last month, their tour took the band up to Seattle, WA where they sat down with our resident Music Video Programmer, Sam Radliff, to talk about some of the amazing things they’ve accomplished, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and playing at the World Cup.
