Gospel Music, from Jacksonville, Florida, don’t sound how you’d expect them to. They play soft and catchy pop influenced by growing up in the Bible Belt; hence the name of their latest album, How To Get To Heaven From Jacksonville, FL.
While making their way to the West Coast, Gospel Music stopped in Austin, Texas and performed an acoustic set in our lobby. After, we got a chance to talk to the band about their influences, their current album, and what’s next for Gospel Music.
