After years of being overlooked, it was announced last month that Rush would finally be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Ask any Rush fan, and they will tell you that this is an honor that is long overdue. For over thirty years, Geddy Lee, Neil Peart, and Alex Lifeson have continued to put out great music, while constantly evolving and pushing themselves to new limits sonically. Just this past summer, Rush released their nineteenth studio album, Clockwork Angels, to critical acclaim. To celebrate their legacy and upcoming induction, here are a few of their greatest videos…
“Limelight” – The dog . The recording studio in the forest. The blue jumpsuit. Awesome.
“Closer to the Heart” – Geddy Lee is watching you! Plus, he appears wearing what appears to be one of Ric Flair’s robes. Neil Peart’s handlebar is pretty sweet as well, back in the days before he went to the kofia fulltime.

Finally, “Subdivisions” – Seriously, one of the greatest videos of all time… I still think I could take this kid at Tempest though.

Congratulations, Rush. It’s about time.
